Faux Watercolor Meets Embossed Double Vision Card

While cleaning up the creative hurricane from my last video, I discovered I had one Faux Watercolor panel left over.  Rather than let it go to waste, I decided to chop it up and see how it would look combined with the Embossed Double Vision technique I shared in a previous video.

The result was even better than I imagined!  The combination of these two techniques creates beautiful depth and dimension, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I’ll share the card details below, along with links to both videos so you can recreate these techniques yourself.

How to Create Faux Watercolor Embossed Double Vision Cards:

Trim a panel of watercolor cardstock to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and create the Embossed Faux Watercolor background using the technique shown in the video.

Once the panel is dry, trim it into 1/2″ strips.  Add foam adhesive strips to the back of every second strip, then adhever all of the strips to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ white cardstock panel, alternating between flat and raised strips to create the Embossed Double Visiion effect.

Trim a panel of Waterfall Cardstock to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and attach it to a top-folding A2-sized White card base.

Center the completed Double Vision panel on the card front and adhere it with liquid glue.

Die cut the sentiment, layer it if desirred for extra dimension, and attach it to the lower right corner of the card.
