This is a beautiful Die set with a large and small stem of flowers and overlays so you can do the flowers in different colors and layers.  They fit beautiful together and cut like butter.  I used Spellbinders cardstock for today’s make in:  White, Black, Pink Sand, Velvet Rose, Chamomile, Purple Mist and Rain Forest.

Start with a piece of black cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2 to work on top of.

Next, cut out all the stems from the green cardstock and glue them down across the entire card front.  Once dry, flip over and cut off the overhangs.

Then, die cut the flowers in the different colors and the flower centers.  Glue these together and then glue over the green stems.

Adding the Sentiment:

Stamp the sentiment from Rainbow Sentiments and Dies in black ink onto a scrap of the Pink Sand cardstock.

Cut out with the coordinating dies and attach to the bottom left corner of the card with foam squares.

Finally, mount the card front to a top folding white A2 sized card base. (4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″).

Now it’s time to hop along and check out the rest of the amazing inspiration the design team has for you.  Again, this is an Instagram hop, so you can start at my account with links in the comments to follow through the hop.  Don’t forget to leave a comment at each stop for a chance to win the awesome prize.

  1. What a beautiful card! I love the arrangement of the floral stems covering the entire card front. The colors on the black are stunning!

  2. I am so glad you “introduced me” to this designer. I love this release and have viewed some of the blog entries on the website. You certainly have created some lovely cards with this release. Great color scheme too – normally I don’t use darker cardstock; but, I am loving how it pops the design/colors!

    1. thank you Mary, I’m a HUGE fan if this designer, I love all her florals, I decided after a pile of white cards it was time for some drama, hence the black, haha
