Hi cardmaking friends and welcome back. I have two super fun cards to share with you today created with Becky Roberts Tiered Tray Dies. This is a new stamp and die set that Spellbinders has just released and it was designed by my very talented friend Becky Roberts. You may remember she did the Shopping Cart set a few months back as well. And, PS, those dies also work well with this set too.
And, my apologies for being absent most of last week. My MIL is visiting, Ian took the week off work, and the weather has been so beautiful, that I played hooky most of the week, haha. I’ll pay for it this week on catch up, but that’s ok. We all need a little time out from time to time.
On to Today’s cards. I don’t have a real life two tiered Tray stand, but, after playing with this die set, I sure wish I did, haha. So much cuteness and fun.
Elements for Both Becky Roberts Tiered Tray Cards:
My card bases are identical but for the embossing folders. So card bases are white A2 top folding, with a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of Waterfall on front.
Next, a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of white embossed with the Inter Twined Lattice for the fall card on the left, and Holly Flourish on the right, both from Spellbinders.
The trays are also both the same. Cut from Simon Says Stamp Woodgrain Cardstock, then colored with copic markers E41, E43, E44. You can of course cut the trays from plain cardstock, such as craft or chocolate, but I love the extra detail the woodgrain cardstock provides.
Becky Roberts Tiered Tray Card #1 – FALL
Start by creating the card base and tray as explained above.
Next, die cut the elements from Persimmon, Peridot, Rainforest, Waterfall, and Craft cardstock.
Color details and shadows with coordinating copic markers.
Then, glue the elements together were needed.
Finally, tuck the elements into the tray and secure them.
Becky Roberts Tiered Tray Dies Card #2 – Christmas
The basics for card 2 are the same as above.
When cutting out the images, add Phone Booth Red cardstock to the mix for the Christmas Theme.
Next, for the holly and pine I used the Dies from Spellbinders Christmas Blooms.
Finally, you can also use the coordinating stamp set to add sentiments. I added mine tot he inside of the cards
