Hey cardmaking friends, welcome back. Today I’m sharing a Simon Says Stamp Bouquet of Thanks Card. I made this one a Mini Slimline card as I’m quite enthralled with them at the moment.
This Bouquet of Thanks stamp and die set caught my eye for a couple of reasons:
- It’s a nice sized image, easy and quick to color.
- It has a coordinating die to cut it out if I want to.
- The best part, versatility: it will fit on a Mini Slimline Card, An A2 sized card and a Slimline.
How to create the Bouquet of Thanks Card:
Use a Misti to stamp the image in SSS Intensive Black ink onto Hammermill white 100# cardstock
Next, color the image with Copics Alcohol Based Markers.
Copic Markers Used:
Blues: B000 – B01 – B32 – B37
Greens: YG03 – YG63 – YG67 (linked at the end of the post for you).
Create the Background for the Bouquet of Thanks Card:
Using the new Slimline Organic Dots stencil from Simon Says Stamp.
Rub Versamark Ink through the stencil onto the Desert Storm card front.
Cover with Wow – Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder.
Shake off the excess and heat set.
Putting the Bouquet of Thanks Card together:
Cut the Mini Slimline base, 6-1/4 x 6-1/2 from Hammermill White 100# – Score and fold at 6-1/4
Next, cut Spellbinders Cosmic Sky at 3-1/4 x 6-1/4″ and attach to the card front
Add the embossed Desert Storm piece
Use the coordinating Bouquet of Thanks die to cut out the art piece and attach it to the card front.
Finally, white heat emboss the sentiment onto a scrap of Spellbinders Peridot green card.
Trim and add to the bottom of the card
