Sandi MacIver – Stampin With Sandi – Cake Soiree with Watercolour Wash.
Hi Stamping friends I have a new video for you today, Cake Soiree with Watercolour Wash. I was going to do a “My favourites” list for you over the weekend and then I thought – Hey, lists are kind of boring! How about a video with each favourite instead. So here is #1 – the Cake Soiree Bundle.
The Cake Soiree suite is on pages 12 and 13 of the Occasions Catalogue with a stamp and die set. There are 16 dies to play with including – this beautiful cake stand, the rose outline and the lovely leafy branches.
Layout for today’s card is from “Case This Sketch” challenge for this week.
When I tried putting a frame in the background I found the card a little busy, so if you look closely, I white embossed the flower and branch from the stamp set. By Adding a colour wash in Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay I achieved my subtle background effect.
This card has lots of pieces to it, but give it a try. My video is long because I walk you through every step, including colouring the cake with the Stampin Up Watercolor Pencils.
Here is the video for you, if you are reading this in an e-mail, you may have to “click here” to view the video on my Blog.
