Sandi MacIver – Stampin with Sandi – Cauldron Bubble Frog Card
Hi stamping friends, a very happy Saturday to you. I wanted to sneak in one more Halloween card today and this one is Cauldron Bubble Frog Card. It snowed here again last night so it definitely feels like time to switch over to Christmas cards BRRRR – but it’s so pretty outside and Miss Lucy LOVES the snow so it’s fun watching her buzz around in it.
The Toil & Trouble Suite is on pages 48 – 49 of the Holiday Catalogue and includes the stamp/die bundle and an amazing Designer Paper pack and embellishments.
- For today’s share I dove into that package of Toil & Trouble Designer Paper and let it do the work for me. The froggy background is a piece 3-7/8 x 5-1/8, matted to a piece of Gorgeous Grape 4 x 5-1/4 and a card base of Sahara Sand, 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored and folded at 4-1/4.
- To highlight the sentiment on my Cauldron Bubble Frog Card I chose a card stock colour that was used in the designer paper – Granny Apple Green 2 x 3 inches. I stamped the stars across the top and the sentiment across the bottom in Memento Tuxedo Black and flag tailed the bottom with my snips.
- Next I used the Cauldron Framelits Dies to die cut some stars from a scrap of Daffodil Delight and used multipurpose glue to attach them.
- Take a second peek at the dies, there are also framelits to cut out the frog, the cat and the witches hat which I did for this card helping me create it in 10 Minutes or Less
These dies fit the designer paper AND the stamps in the set….WOW – talk about speeding up your card making right? Love that Stampin Up gave us that choice with this set too.
You also have this choice with the Santa’s Workshop Suite – visit this post to check that out
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and thanks so much for stopping in to visit.
Inky Hugs!
