Hi stamping friends and welcome back to my card making blog. Today’s card is a little Daisy Delight Thank you.
It’s a simple 5″ square card created with the Daisy Delight stamp set, page 127 of the New Annual Catalogue and it’s my 10 Minutes or Less card for this week too.
I love making square cards don’t you? The cutting is so easy. The layout for today’s card is this week’s sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:
I started by choosing the Designer Paper, Delightful Daisy DSP. I love the Ombre effect of this paper and how I can use it to contrast my art pieces. Light at the bottom to highlight the black sentiment, dark at the top to make my flowers pop.
The small flowers in the Daisy Delight set are for the two step stamping technique. By also using the generation stamping technique, I can achieve both the image and the outline with one ink pad: Bermuda Bay with the stems and leaves stamped in Old Olive.
I over stamped the large “thank you” in Archival Basic Black and white heat embossed the smaller sentiment on black card stock for additional contrast.
Thanks so much for stopping in to visit today and Happy Stamping
