Hi stamping friends, in between building a vegi garden and planting trees and shrubs for the past 4 days, I snuck in a couple of cards to share with you using the Simon Says Stamp Delicate Flowers and simple Copic Flicking Technique
This technique is really easy BUT provides beautiful results. You only need a couple of colours of pens too. I decided to use the Simon Says Stamp Delicate Flowers because the beautiful line drawn details of the petals are PERFECT for this technique….plus I love a good flower stamp, haha.
I did a quick little video for you (below) on how I created this card, and steps for the Delicate Flowers Copic Flicking technique too.
I decided on a pretty quiet background for the cards because I wanted the flowers to really pop off the card, so I die cut a piece of watercolor paper with the Simon Says Stamp Wonky Rectangles dies, and added one colour of watercolor with my Gansai Tambi #36. (You will also see in the video I did a green background with #58, but I like the pink one more).
And the BEST PART ABOUT THIS STAMP SET! It was part of the April card kit which has sold out, but you can order it separately, and with the new May Release last week from Simon Says Stamps – there are dies!, whoot whoot. (which I ordered immediately, haha – you can order them separately or together – links below)
While I always love to fussy cut, I don’t always have time, especially now when my day is divided between gardening and stamping, haha….so coordinating dies to the rescue!.

I hope you will give this technique a try. One tip I do have for you, I seem to only be good at “flicking” in one direction, so I turn my flower as I colour each petal, that works best for me, but stamp out a few and try it out and see what’s best for you, try some different colours, and just have fun with the technique….would LOVE to see what you create with it, you can load your cards on my Stamp to Share Facebook Group here
