Happy Birthday! So far I have only used my cricut for card making , but looking forward to trying stamping, embossing and watercolors.
Happy Birthday Sandi! What an awesome way to celebrate! There are really almost too many wonderful techniques to choose only one…but lately I have been obsessed with ink blending with the fabulous blending brushes ❤️❤️❤️ such a wonderful way to make a beautiful colorful card quickly! I also really love watercolor & alcohol Ink backgrounds! Have a great day celebrating YOU!
Happy Birthday! You have such beautiful projects! My favorite techniques are ink blending and alcohol ink backgrounds.
I love embossing dry and heat embossing but if I had to choose it would be embossing folders, just love them! Thanks for the opportunity to win and Happy Happy birthday!
Congrats also on your # of subscribers!!!
Happy Birthday Sandi! Enjoy the game and dinner, and especially the shopping! My favourite technique is blending with distress oxide inks, although mine never turn out as pretty as yours do, they make the perfect backgrounds. Enjoy your time in the city, hopefully the snow stays away!
Happy Birthday to you Sandi.
I have been card making now for 17+years and have tried so many different techniques. Recently I have discovered the amazing blending brushes. They add such a unique background to whatever I am trying. I embroider on cards and also like to do Iris folding. Recently I used a die set and cut all flowers/leaves out of white paper. I used the blending brushes to ‘color’ the flowers and leaves. In the past I cut the leaves from green cardstock and the flowers from whatever color I selected. But this time I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink and created shading and color variations. It turned out amazing. So blending brushes are my new go to when I create cards.
Happy Birthday to you, my husband, and Dr. Seuss! I’m a newbie at this and just got lots of ideas from the summit, but for now my favorite technique is the layered stencils since they’re easy.
I love learning new techniques, but especially love creating with stencils as my coloring skills are not the best. Enjoy your card videos very much.
Happy birthday! I like using color burst on my cards!
Well happy birthday to you young lady! You definitely don’t look your age!
My favourite card making technique is fun folds.
Thank you for the chance to win 😊
Happy birthday to you!!!!! Congratulations on your 22000 Subscribers!!!!! My favorite technique is to heat emboss and Dry emboss!!!! I like them both and they give two different outcomes!!!!!
Happy birthday to both of us!
Picking a favorite technique is near impossible because I want to do it all. I am extremely fond of folds, pop-ups, etc. I have also recently started trying watercolors which I love.
Happy Birthday Sandi! I hope you have a fantastic day! I like the results from embossing folders, and especially like having dies to cut out my stamped designs. Thank you for this chance, the flowers in the prize sets are beautiful!
My favorite technique would probably be using stencils with alcohol inks
HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sandi. It sounds like you and hubby have a nice day planned for your birthday. I hope you have a lovely time.
Gosh to pick one technique…I love creating and getting inspiration from people like you. I love to try something new. I guess if I had to pick one, I do enjoy ink blending. Never the same card twice! 🥳🎂🍷
Happy birthday, Sandi, and enjoy your birthday trip!
I love using stencils to color in images. I feel like I could sit all day and do nothing but that!
Happy Birthday Sandi! Enjoy your dinner and game, along with a few days off.
My favorite card making technique is the one that wowed me at first – using an embossing folder. Seeing a flat card transformed to movement and texture. I must own a zillion folders.
The new technique I am learning is ink blending with brushes. You are my inspiration there – along with encouraging me to use alcohol markers for coloring. Still need to send that first card with a colored flower, building up courage with lots of practice. However, I am sending out the ink blended cards now thanks to your instructions and the ease of blending with brushes.
Enjoyed the Card Make Summit video this past weekend. Definitely in my top 5 presentations. Hope that will catapult you to 23k subscribers and beyond!
OMG Sandy, first and foremost I wanted to congratulate you on the 22,000 subscribers ! what a feat and you so deserve it. I remember following you quite a while ago and you are by far one of the best out there. It also helps that I love the same color schemes/selections that you use and style as well.
Wishing you an amazing birthday, (p.s. I would never have guessed your age) you look fab.
Enjoy every bloody second of it, you truly deserve this, you work very hard girl!!!
OMG dummy me, I forgot to tell you about my fav technique:
As you know I love blending, ink blending or any other mediums and I am actually known for it like yourself. It’s the longest process that I do when I make my cards.
Big hugs, Karen xoxo
Happy birthday. I love gluing matching patterned strips of paper onto cardstock to make cards. Sometimes a few embellishments and a stamp to finish them off.
Happy Birthday! I don’t really have a favorite technique. Sometimes I use stamps and dies, sometimes my Cricut. I use the Cricut if I need a card in a hurry. Lately, water coloring my stamped images is rising to the top as a top favorite. I find it so relaxing.
Happy birthday Sandi, sounds like you have a lovely few days ahead! And congratulations on the 22k subscribers – you go girl! Great stuff! xx
Happy Birthday Sani! I am working on a birthday card for my March baby (she will be 47🤣). Hope you have a spectacular birthdays!
My favorite technique is layering die cuts.
My absolute favorite card technique is to stamp on acetate with stazon, color on opposite side, spritz with water and then cover that with glossy or yupo card stock. Then with misti or stamp positioning tool, stamp over the image (once it is dry) with stazon. Absolutely love then end results 💗.
Happy Birthday!!! I’m just starting with card making, but so far layered stencils is what I’m enjoying.
Happy happy day to another fellow March birthday girl! My very favorite technique in card making remains rubber stamping. The last few years I have been enjoying coloring those stamped images with Copic markers. Using embossing folders is a close second. They seem to multiply like rabbits! And now the 3-D variety have caught my eye, especially the gorgeous floral ones.
Happy Birthday Sandi. I hope it’s a very special day for you.
My favorite seems to be whatever I am working on. I love them all and you have been a wonderful inspiration to me and so many others. Congrats on 22,000 youtube subscribers.
Best wishes,
Linda
