Hey card making friends, welcome back. Today’s share is a hand made Christmas Card, Hero Arts Holiday Sentiment Strips. The products used are from the NEW My Monthly Hero Release at Hero Arts and may be my favorite die of all times.

To create today’s card I used two new products, the Holiday Sentiment Strips Stamp set that creates the pretty white embossed tree and the Sentiment Strips Fancy Die which does an amazing job of cutting out all the colored strips for the background.

This Strips Fancy Die is just screaming for a rainbow card right? I created one with cool pastel hues using Hero Arts card stock. I love this combination of colors, what do you think?

Card stock Used: Amethyst, Peony, Mist, Paradise and Kiwi

How to create the Hero Arts Holiday Sentiment Strips Christmas Card:

Start by using the Sentiment Strips Fancy Die to cut out a set of strips from each color. Use 1/2 sheet of cardstock this leaves plenty to create another card or two

Next, use Simon Says stamp Micro Dots Sheets to add adhesive to a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″ card front.

Then, add the strips, starting from the bottom and working to the top. Press on it firmly to ensure they are all stuck well before doing the next step.

Adding the Sentiment Tree

Start by place the strips piece into the center of the Misti.

Next, Line up the Holiday Sentiment Strips tree stamp on the lines.

Then, stamp the image in VersaMark Embossing Ink, cover with white embossing powder, shake off the excess and heat set.

NOTE: be careful not to overheat the piece as it may cause your strips to peal off the background piece. If this happens, secure with white glue.

Finally, attach to a top folding A2 sized card base.
