Arteza recently sent me another box of goodies to play with so in today’s Video I’m sharing – Let’s Color with Arteza Real Brush Pens. I do a little comparison to others I have and then show you a few different ways I like to color with them. I also share 4 completed cards at the end of the video.
If you are reading this in an e-mail you will need to VISIT MY BLOG to watch the video or watch it over on my YOUTUBE Channel in H.D.
These pens are watercolor pens, with a paint brush tip. You color/paint with them and then use the enclosed water brush pen to move and blend the ink. It sounds difficult, but it truly isn’t, this is such a fun and simple way to get a watercolor look on your cards.
I’m working with this 48 brush set, you can also get a

Of Note: The price point on these pens is Fabulous and they are also on sale right now, so it’s a great time to grab them – SHOP ARTEZA HERE.
The first coloring I do in the video is with this lovely Early Tulip Bouquet stamp from the recent Picket Fence release.
The background is a Simon Says Stamp Marilyn Full Card Die over the A2 top folding card base.
The Sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Thanks & Encouragement Word Mix and the box is die cut with the SSS Stitched Square Dies.
For the Second Card:
I used the Colorado Craft Company BIG Birthday Cake. By coloring this in rainbow it gave me the opportunity to show you a beautiful selection of the colors in these pens.
Once the image was colored (I color the entire thing in the video), I cut it out and attached it to a Simon Says Stamp Cotton Candy A2 top folding card base and added a white heat embossed sentiment.
While playing before I did the video:
I used the Simon Says Stamp Cosmos Background Stamp and colored in the entire thing
And as the background stamps are 6 x 6 rubber mounted, I was able to cut the piece down and get two cards with it.
Sentiments are Simon Says Stamp Script Hello and CZ Designs Miss You dies.
