Hi card making friends: Today’s post is How to make a Shaker Card. They are super easy and super fun, here are a few samples for you as well as a Stampin Up Video:
My first sample is created with the Confetti Celebration Stamp Set (page 13) and those adorable sprinkles inside, couldn’t be easier – There’s a punch for That: the Sprinkles Punch on page 193.
and the kids adore playing with these shaker cards so how about one created with the No Bones About it Stamp Set (page 65), and add some Sequins (page 177 of the catalog).
This is one of my favorite new bundles you will find on page 75. Jar of Love and the coordinating Everyday Jar Framelits (page 192)
You could use the Confetti Hearts Border Punch to punch out a bunch of different sized hearts and add some sequins for a Shaker full of love (that sounds like an Elvis Presley song doesn’t it, haha)…
This one is created with the Seaside Shore Stamp set (pg 92) – isn’t it cute, and they used little punched out circles for the shakers
And My last one to share today, Letters to You. I LOVE this card. The stamp set is on page 137 and it’s the entire alphabet. Add the coordinating Large Letter Framelits (pg 193) to cut them out – and if you do.
Something to consider, if you have a $400. or higher order or party in June, you receive an additional $40. in Host Dollars. Or if your order is $550. or higher you get to choose 1 half price item. Both of these options would greatly reduce the price of this bundle for you – and well worth it. It’s on my next order.
ANYWAY I have always shied away from creating Shaker Cards because I thought they were difficult. Turns out, they are super easy, especially with the new Foam Adhesive Strips (pg 182)
Add some to your next order and give these fun cards a try.
Here is the video for you for a brief explanation of how to create a shaker card:
Thanks so much for visiting me today, I hope you enjoyed the projects.
