I’m going for super Clean and Simple for today’s cards. Sometimes we have so many holiday cards to make it’s a good idea. Both of these cards are super easy with nothing but die cutting and 1 Hot Foiled Sentiment. I used up left over pieces from last week’s card extravaganza (5 cards in one day), yep, I cut that many extra pieces, haha, and I still have more. Here are the brief instructions for making them.
Merry Christmas Clean and Simple Cards – Card #1:
Start with the Large Merry Christmas Hot Foil Plate. Hot foil it in Polished Brass Foil and cut it out with the coordinating die.
Next, use the Elegant Stripes Hot Foil Plate, also foiled in Polished Brass onto a piece of 4″ x 5-1/4″ white card stock.
Then, cut a piece of mirror gold cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and attach it to a top folding A2 sized white card base.
Next, use foam squares (man I love foam squares), to attach the sentiment to the center of the card, on a slight angle.
Finally, add a couple of foliage pieces cut with the Winter Foliage Die Set and Mirror Gold cardstock.
NOTE – this also looks pretty in any color cardstock.
Merry Christmas Clean and Simple Cards – Card #2
Start by cutting a card front 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ from green card stock. (I think this is Mint Macaron from Stampin Up card stock). Attach it to a top folding A2 sized white card base.
Next, use the Winter Foliage Die set and cut out enough foliage to cover the card front. Glue it all down with the fine tip on the Bearly Art Glue.
Then, use the Falala Die set, cutting the front in Mirror Gold, and the shadow from the same green cardstock.
Finally, attach it with foam squares to add a little depth.
