New Simon Says Stamp Poppy Bouquet

Hey there, I’m back again with a NEW Simon Says Stamp Poppy Bouquet Stencil and a couple of cards to share with you. This is another from the SEND HAPPINESS release that dropped today and as you can see, I had a bit of fun with it.

Both of the images are done on black card. The red on the left, I first covered with Dreamweaver Embossing Paste putting down as smooth a layer as possible.

I washed the stencil immediately and set it aside to dry.

Once the stencil and the embossing paste were dry, I placed the stencil back over the image and blended on some Distress Oxides. Candied Apple, Festive Berries and Mowed Lawn along with a little Mustard for the flower centers.

I finished the card with a black mat onto a Neenah 110# Solar White top folding A2 card base.

The sentiment is a die set from Simon Says Stamp – BIG Thanks.

The second card is very similar, this time using Picket Fence Paper Glaze in Golden Rose on the black card.

Once dry, it was trimmed and attached to a black mat and then the same white card base.

I’m looking forward to playing with this stencil again very soon. if you would rather stamp and color, Simon also released a “Poppies Background Stamp” that is truly stunning
