New Video – Copic Quickies – Sepia Card

Hello my paper crafting friends and welcome back to my card making blog.  Today’s New Video is #6 in my Copic Quickies Series:   Copic Quickies – Sepia Card and is another quick and easy one.  I only used 4 markers.

It seems about once a year I decided to do a sepia colored card, I really like them and this one is stacked full of Gina K products, so let’s jump in shall we.

Copic Quickies - Sepia Card

This is a 5 x 5 inch square card, something else I love to make and all the cutting instructions and supplies are listed below in links and a free PDF download.

Gina K Designs Elegant Asters

I’ve used the Gina K Designs Elegant Asters set today.  I started by stamping all of the leaf and flower images in Amalgam Black ink (copic friendly and waterproof), using my Misti so I could stamp them multiple times for nice dark images.

I colored them using Copic Markers to create the sepia color:  E41, E43, E44 and #47 and the flicking technique (show in the video below)

Next I die cut them all out with the coordinating dies.

I set them aside to create my card front pieces which I started by die cutting a piece of Kraft card stock with the largest stitched square die.  I then stenciled it with Kraft ink, through the Gina K Leafy Stencil.  I like that the lines in the leaves on the stencil mirror the leaves in the stamp set.

I often like to decorate the inside of my cards too, so I cut additional pieces, stenciled a bit on the white and attached the art pieces with glue dots .  For this bunch, I left the stamped leaves white, and I kind of really like that contrast.  This is the smallest flower from the bunch too.

I attached all the art pieces using foam squares to add a bit of dimension and embellished with some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ebony Black.
