NEW VIDEO – Distress Oxide Christmas Cards

Welcome back Crafty Friends, today I’m sharing A NEW VIDEO – Distress Oxide Christmas Cards.  I did a whopping 5 cards for you today – hope you like them.

I was playing with Distress Oxide Inks and Nuvo Shimmer Powders making some fun backgrounds the other day and turned the video camera on so I could share them with you.  I won’t go into much details as I do that on the video.  For this card I also used the Penny Black Leaf Stitched Frames Die and the snowflakes are from My Favorite things – Layered Snowflakes Dies.

In the video I show you how on some of the backgrounds I did a second layer of Nuvo Shimmer Powders.  I also used them to paint the “JOY” sentiments, once I had cut them three times and layered together.

I also stenciled the backgrounds, this one is from Tonic Studios and I used the Life Changing Brushes to add a bit of blue and green ink to create the design.  The sentiment on this card is from My Favorite Things – Birdie Brown – Greetings Galore.

I also changed up the colors a bit for a blue/purple and pink one.

and finally a yellow, blue, green and purple one.

As you can see I had a boatload of fun creating these 5 cards and I walk you through all the steps in the video below.
