New Video Distress Oxides Color Combos and Cards #3

Welcome back .  Today I have a NEW Cardmaking video: Distress Oxides Color Combos and Cards #3.

Sorry I missed last weekend, we had a few life bumps last week and my video editing got knocked off the rails….Almost back on track, but playing catch up a bit around here, LOL….you know, Life gets in the way sometimes of having some card making fun!… haha

ANYWAY, I decided to play with Jewel tones this week because I have the NEW Altenew Dot Botanical Stamp set and I thought the Jewel tones would really show it off.  (although once again, very hard to take a picture of gold embossing – that’s what the dots are).

Here are the colors for this weeks Distress Oxides Color Combos and Cards #3 .  I think they are just beautiful when blended together.  The Preserves is a little bright, but once you start pulling the blue down into it, it turns that fabulous shade of purple, you can check that out in the video below.

In the video I share how I used my Misti stamping tool to add all the stamped images over the distress oxide background and I create the first card I showed you.  This card, I added a second stamping with the solid image and more of the dots up the side.  I also flipped the card so the Preserves color was at the top of the card.

I think I like the simplicity of the first one with more of the background showing and the darker color at the bottom of the card.
