Sandi MacIver Stampin With Sandi – New Video – Stampin Up Blossoming Basket with Watercolor Pencils and Z Fold Card.
Lots to share and celebrate today. First a very big thank you to you all for helping me get to 1 million You Tube Views over on my You Tube Channel: I mean WOW.
To celebrate I’m having a little give away. To enter just leave a comment on my blog, and/or this video for a chance to win the Blossoming Basket Bundle
I used in today’s Project. Winner will be announced on my April 1st Blog Post – and thank you again for supporting my little corner of the cyber world. Hugs!
I had to play with the Blossoming Basket Bundle one more time before Sale-a-bration ends in 7 short days. It’s free with a $120. Purchase and you get the beautiful stamp set and the amazing Basket Weave Embossing Folder (which I can’t stop playing with).
And as you all broke the store with the Stampin’ Blends haha- I used my Watercolour Pencils for today’s card and I share some tips on how I like to blend and shade with them.
Last time I cut out the image and while I love to fussy cut, I don’t always have time, so here is an alternative idea for you. Stamp the image twice, colour the main image and then colour the big center flower on the second image, cut it out (much easier), and layer it to the art piece. You get the 3-D effect without all the work.
Here’s today’s Video walking you through this card. If you are reading this in a e-mail, you may need to click here to view it on my blog.
I love the Z fold card; when closed the sentiment is hidden, when you open them, you can create little surprises inside. I use the back of the card to write a little note.
I changed it up a little on the inside panel by just using the mat and re-stamping the image on it.
Want another great card idea created with this Bundle? Let me introduce the newest member of my team, Eva Dobilas. Eva took advantage of the extra special Sale-a-bration Sign up last week and she has been busy. Eva has a lovely blog and you can visit her at “I Love to Stamp”. You will want to subscribe because she makes AWESOME cards and she shared this beauty yesterday created with the Blossoming Basket Bundle.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and thanks so much for stopping in to visit.
Wishing you Happy Stamping.
