Once Upon a Time

Hey card making friends, thanks so much for stopping in.  My share today is Once Upon a Time.  This is another fun card using the new Cinderella themed Anita Jeram stamps from Colorado Craft Company.

This time we have Cinderella out in the evening, enjoying the moon and wishing upon a star.  I’m sure to be granted by her fairy godmother.

This is another pretty quick card to create using the adorable Magic Time Stamp Set just released from Colorado Craft Company and the sentiment is from Fairy Godmother, another stamp in this set.  Check out the entire release here

How to create the Once Upon a Time Card

Start by placing a 4-1/4  x 5-1/2 piece of Hammermill cardstock into the Misti and stamp the image in Intense Black Ink.

Next, Color with Copic Markers and then use the coordinating die to cut her out.

COPICS USED:  Pinks:  R81, R83, R85, Apron:  W1, W3, W5, Gray Mouse:  N0, N1, N3, N5, Broom:  YG21, YR31  Brown:  E31, E35, E57

Creating the Background/Card Front.

Using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink and a blending brush, start creating a yellow circle in the middle of the card.

Next, Lay the medium sized Moon Mask over and add more yellow so you get a faint hint of the divots in the moon.

Then, cover the moon with the solid mask and ink blend Broken China and Prize Ribbon around the moon.

Final Steps for the Once Upon a Time Card:

Tear a post it note and lay it down at the bottom of the card.  Ink blend in Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink to create the rock or mountain she is standing on.

Next, Mix up some white ink and splatter the entire card.

Once dry, use a white gel pen to add dots and stars around the moon.

Then, Attach it to a top folding White A2 sized card base.

Finally, attach the mouse using foam squares to pop her up slightly, and the small clear Rhinestones from Picket Fence Studios Day and Night Gems mix.
