Sandi MacIver – Stampin With Sandi – Painted Orchids with Stampin Up Climbing Orchid
Hi Stamping friends, I have a new video for you today, Painted Orchids with Stampin Up Climbing Orchid.
My card today features a beautiful Sponging technique to create these amazing Painted Orchids.
Are you like me and stop at the flower department when you are grocery shopping, just to check out all the pretty orchids? I especially love the painted ones, they are so bright and cheery and they are my inspiration for today’s card.
I coupled the orchids with the Wood Textures Designer Paper for a nice woodsy feel. Love this stuff – and a little secret – it’s moving to the new catalogue – YEAh!…we get to play with it for another year.
AND I’m playing with two of the New In Colours on this card. Say Hello to Lovely Lipstick and Grapefruit Grove: Are they not fabulous together? Truthfully, I don’t often have much nice to say about orange, but I’m in love with this one, it’s so soft and warm.
The Climbing Orchid Bundle is in the current catalogue on page 21 of the Stampin Up Catalogue and you can order the stamps/framelits combo as a bundle and save 10%. Both items are moving to the new catalogue, but un-bundled, so you will have to order them separately.
Here’s the video walking you step by step through the process. If you are reading this in an e-mail, you may need to click here to visit my blog to view the video.
Or you can watch it on my YouTube Channel here:
Today’s card also uses this week’s sketch from Freshly Made Sketches
The PDF for today’s card will be in my FREE PDF Sunday Post for you.
