Sandi MacIver – Stampin with Sandi – Party Pandas Free with a $60. order
Hi stamping friends, I have a new card share today with my favorite set, Party Pandas Free with a $60. order during Sale-a-bration:
How can you not fall in love with these mischievous little guys – they are totally adorable and so much fun to create with.
My layout today is for the Case This Sketch Challenge for this week:
It’s a super sweet challenge and if you have a bunch of little pieces of Designer Paper to use up, it’s perfect.
I did two cards for this week’s challenge, a simple one and a stepped up one.
Card #1 Party Pandas Free with a $60. order card:
For the simple one on the left, the designer paper is 2 x 4, and I sliced off a strip at 1/2 just to add a little break. The designer paper for the projects is from Tutti Frutti on page 29 of the New Occasions Catalogue – you can see the designs down the left of the picture, on trend with fabulous colour choices.
For this card, I decided I wanted a little pop of blue and it had to be blingy….so I used the Balloon Bouquet Punch to punch out a piece of the new Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper on page 37 of the Occasions Caddy. Sorry my picture doesn’t do this paper justice, it’s stunning in real life.
I attached the designer paper to the card base and then stamped the Panda directly. So it’s a flat card, with the balloon as the only pop up.
Card #2 Party pandas Free with a $60. order card:
The second card has a few more elements to it.
I started with a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of the Lemon Lime Twist Designer Paper. Then I used the 2 x 4 black and white piece, cut off the 1/2″ strip and attached that to the green before attaching it all to my card base.
I again stamped the panda directly onto this, as I wanted the balloon string to show.
On the left you will see all the additional pieces I stamped, the panda on white, the balloons on pool party, lemon lime twist and emerald envy and the happy birthday sentiment is white embossed on a scrap of basic black and cut apart.
I stamped the little images all over the balloons in the same color before cutting them out.
All the pieces are added to the card as overlays.
Cute and fun and it took me less than 30 minutes to create the two of them.
Thanks so much for stopping to visit with me today, wishing you Happy Stamping.
