Hello card making friends and welcome back. Today I’m sharing Picket Fence Studios Artist Dear. This adorable stamp set is from the June Picket Fence Studios Release and it grabbed my heart as soon as I saw it and the sentiment. “All I need is art and the love of a dog(s), haha….that’s me! Ok, it’s not a corgi, but it’s close, LOL
The set is one of their small 4 x 4 sets so I used my copic markers to quickly color it up and then fussy cut it out.
Details for the Picket Fence Studios Artist Dear Card:
We watched the Sex in the City #2 movie last night (because we have watched everything else in Netflix in the last 4 months, haha) and I think that’s where I got the color ideas for the clothes LOL.
Pinks: RV34, RV17, RV19, Oranges: R20, R05, Skin: E50, E51, E21, Browns: E31, E35, E57, Greens YG21, YG23, YG17, Yellow Y15, Glasses B000, Blues: B000 B16
I also decided to give her a little pink hair highlight, because hey, she’s an artist. That gave me the idea to use the Watercolor Brush Strokes Stencil for the background (also from Picket Fence Studios). I used Pixie Spray to hold it down while I blended the color onto the card front.
I used a blending brush and added Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink as the background
