Hey cardmaking friends. It’s the 14th so that means Picket Fence Studios New Release for July and it’s overflowing with fun new products for Fall and Winter. Yes, with Halloween and Christmas just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to create.
I had huge fun playing and have some fun samples for you today. I’m also one of the educator/designers for the 7 in 7 Free Facebook Group Classes and I have more info about that at the end of the post.
Let’s dive into some cardmaking shall we.
All the Gourds Seamless Stamp
I love these Seamless Stamps. They are 3-1/2″ square with a repeating design so you can stamp them horizontally or vertically. They are perfect for slimline cards or stamp them just once and use that as the main art piece in the center of a A2 sized card.

Stamp the All the Gourds stamp onto watercolor paper and have fun painting. My colors are green, blue and tape. Great fall card, and it would also be a nice masculine birthday card.
The new Word Topper Die Happy Fall Y’all is cut in black and taupe, stacked and laid over the art piece.
The second sentiment in black is from the Word Topper Dies Subtitles Stamp Set that coordinates with the Word Topper Dies.
Santa’s Snowy Hills Die my favorite from the Picket Fence Studios New Release:
I’m in love with this fabulous Santa’s Snowy Hills Die. These will be my Christmas Cards for this year as they are so fast and easy to create.
Santa’s Snowy Hills Die Card #1
Create the sky by blending Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Inks.
Over that glue two die cuts leaving enough room to stamp the large sentiment from Joyeux Noel. A lovely New Holiday Sentiments Stamp Set.
Next, the second card is even less work with a single die cut. They sky repeats the colors from the previous card.
Finally, embellish with the new Icicles Sequins up in the sky.
Bring on the Goblins:
Who can resist this HUGE Spider Web Cover Plate Die? Lay it over a card front of Distress Oxide Blend of Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet.
Next come the goblins. Stamp and color the “You Creep Me Out” gang and attach them to the card front. This fun stamp set has the gang, as well as individual characters and great sentiments for Halloween fun.
Not to be outdone by those little goblins:
Say hello to these huge solid image goblins from the NOT SCARED? You Should Be Stamp Set.
Use your Misti to stamp him over an ink blend of the same colors as the previous card.
Next, add the Halloween Graveyard Cover Plate Die in black at the bottom to complete the spooky scene.
Monochromatic Christmas Cards:
Under NEW in the stencil department you will find Winter Forest Scenery Stencil and Artic Winter 6 x 6 stencil.
Combine the two with a nice juicy “Kraft” ink pad to create these simple holiday cards.
To add some bling, gold emboss the deer and then mat the art piece with gold mirror cardstock.
Finally, embellish with the Sands of Time Gem Mix. These are super high-quality gems, they are cut like diamonds. They also have multi colors so they really glimmer.
Next the exact same layout, but flipped sideways.
I couldn’t resist that little bird stamp from the Joyeau Noel stamp set. He deserves his very own card. Same Instructions as the last card.
