Hi stamping friends and welcome back to my Paper Crafting Blog. Today’s share is a Seasonal Layers Snowflake Card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.
The sketch for this week had me perplexed for a bit, I won’t share how many cards in different colours I created haha…..then I walked away and came back this morning with a fresh idea.
I love this card, it’s clean, simple and elegant and super easy to create.
for the Seasonal Layers Snowflake Card:
Crumb Cake (top left), Gold Foil Sheet (two center pieces) and Whisper White.
Tip – to save yourself some $$, cut the snowflakes out of that Gold Foil Mat before you adhere the embossed piece of whisper white on top of it – no one will ever know!
And save the little centers from the small snowflakes, they are great background embellishments.
The white panel is embossed with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder.
Snowflake dies are from the seasonal Layers Thinlits set.
Here are how the pieces layered together once you have them cut.
The sentiment is two separate stamps but both from the Merry Cafe Stamp set and I white Heat Embossed them down the side of the Crumb Cake Piece.

Simply stunning Sandi! I love the Crumb Cake, white and gold color combination. And those little rhinestones add so much to the snowflakes! Beautiful!
aw thanks Amy, I had a super hard time yesterday trying to design a card with this sketch, this morning, no problem, haha
What a beautiful card! I love the elegant touches of gold. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
Thanks so much Amy, truthfully that sketch got the better of me on Sunday, haha
This is such an elegant card. Thank you for the design and sharing it! I love it!
Thanks Linda, so glad you enjoyed it
these are stunning. I’ve been asked to donate a $10 gift for silent auction & I may do a few of these. This group likes to get “my donation” for next to nothing, so I don’t always add a lot of elegance!
Thanks Susan, actually they are not that expensive to make as the pieces of Gold Foil Sheet are small and I cut the snowflake out of them before I put them together, so a set of them would be a perfect gift.
