As promised, here are the first six cards I made with this awesome Kit of the Month. I created with a variety of techniques, and some masculine, some feminine, some clean and simple, and of course, an over the top one too….I break each one down for you below, with an individual picture and a PDF Download with the cutting instructions, supply lists and bullet points on how to create the cards.
Card #1
A super simple beginner card – #10 minutes or less card – this is Ian’s favourite card, he loves the sentiment and the simplicity of the card.
Card #2
This one uses some of that lovely patterned paper, and my fav stamp in the set – the beautiful rose heart
Card #3
Another masculine card and more of that Romantic patterned paper.
Card #4
That Rustic Plank pattern paper makes the perfect backdrop for this pretty card, and of course, I had to get that bird in there too.
Card #5
Ok, if you have been hanging around with me for a while you KNOW I would end up colouring these beauties, so here’s the clean and simple version.
Card #6
And lastly, the over the top card where for some reason I need 4 layers of cardstock on one card, haha and yes, the roses are fussy cut out, I find it very therapeutic to fussy cut – do you enjoy it too?
I have a New SIMONS SAYS STAMP – Pinterest Board where you will find more card ideas for not only these stamps but many of the others they carry – subscribe so you don’t miss any of my pins.

Oh wow, those cards are stunning! Beautiful colors and designs! 🙂
thanks Amy, I had a lot of fun with the kit, haha
Enjoy your site so much, but surely do miss your Stampin’Up! connection. There’s no way I can branch off into another company and keep my sanity and bankbook in order! I hope you’ll still purchase some of the great new SU items and feature them now and then!
Hope your health is 100% these days!
I love how you put the kit together Sandi. Your cards are beautiful! Thank you for the PDFs too – I love that they can be adapted to any stamps and papers.
I guess I’ve been out of the loop longer than I thought I had? When did you leave SU! and why? I’d like to speak to you privately, but don’t know how to do that? These cards are beautiful! I went to OnStage in Nov. You talk about unhappy! I don’t care if I never go to another OnStage again! Because of that and I’m NOT selling anything my husband wants me to quit! But, I have to do something?
Oh my goodness….these are all so stunning Sandi…wow, what a fabulous kit!!! Your blog looks amazing, too!!! So glad you are back into blogging land!!!
aw, thank you Eva, it’s still a work in progress, but we are getting there, haha
