Good morning. The Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit – Home Sweet Home went live at Midnight last night and it’s so dang sweet I decided it deserved it’s own post this morning, wait till you see the adorable stamp set.
We had a big storm come through last night with a tornado warning, it was kind of scary, but we are all here today and God watered my vegi garden for me, so it’s all good. Although, I’m lacking sleep big time, so there is a nice long nap in my future today (YAWN)!
Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit – HOME SWEET HOME
The Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit – Home Sweet Home is full of welcoming, hometown cheer!
In the kit are some fantastic Simon exclusive products – the delightful Home Sweet Home 6 x 8 stamp set
I can’t wait to play with that adorable strip of houses along the bottom. Have you tried slim line cards yet? This is perfect for them, and there is a sample below as well as in the video below.
Plus, all the fabulous sentiments and sky art! I have so many ideas for this stamp set, sadly the post office is holding it hostage again.
The Kit also includes this three-part Postage Die set from CZ Designs. Create your own postage to add to the card or envelope, or add them as elements on your cards as Sharri did in the second sample I shared below.
HOT OFF THE PRESS? Do you have your NEW TIM HOLTZ Speckled EGG Distress Ink Pad yet? Order this kit and you will! It’s the mini and it’s adorable and I’m in love with the color. My regular sized ink pad came on Tuesday so I’ve been playing with it.
- You’ll also find a mini Tim Holtz Speckled Egg Distress Ink pad (so cute and not yet available for sale individually!), as well as a mini jar of Cosmic Shimmer.
- There are a variety of cheerful Waffle flower Patterned papers
- 7 Simon brand envelopes
- 3 sheets of Simon Brand cardstock and
- 1 sheet of Neenah Solar White too.
The Housing Strip stamp is perfect for slim line cards – check out the Simon Says Stamp Blog for some great card ideas from the Design Family
Shari Carroll created this slim line card and she stamped the houses twice, coloring them and adding with foam tape to add dimension to the card.
and check out the clever use of the Postage Dies for this second card created by Shari Carroll.
When my kit arrives I’ll be sharing card ideas with you, I can’t wait to get my mitts on this one. With all the isolation and stay at home, it’s the perfect time to start sending out cards again. Remember hand written letters? tuck one of those in….I received one from a friend this past week and it was so fun to sit and read it out in the garden.
Until your card kit arrives, here is a video showing you what’s in the kit, and watch to the end for more card inspiration – just to get your creative juices flowing

Ok, that’s it for me today, thanks so much for stopping in. I’m off to inspect my garden after the storm. My poor tomato plants got shredded from the wind last night, hope I can save a few of them!.
