Hi crafty friends and welcome back. Today I’m sharing Simon Says Stamp Layered Tulips.
This 4 pack stencil set was originally from the “lucky to know you” release and is back in stock – YEAH! I can’t believe how easy it is to create these pretty tulips with these overlay stencils.
Start with a 4 x 4 inch square of Neenah Solar White 80# card and add the ink with blending brushes.
I used a light and dark for each color, all Gina K Designs Inks:
- Key lime/Lucky Clover
- Innocent Pink/Dusty Rose
- Lemon Drop/Wild Dandelion
- Peach Bellini/Tangerine Twist
There are four stencils in this set, and it’s super easy to line them up to add your layers. I secured them to my work surface with Post it Tape, and also used small pieces of the tape, to mask off the different colored tulips as I was adding the ink.
The art piece is mounted to a 4-1/2 square piece of Simon Says Stamp Cotton Candy card and then to a top folding, 5 ” square white card base, Neenah Solar White 110#
Of course I also stenciled a matching envelope.
Finally, the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Greetings Mix 1. I bought this stamp set for this exactly sentiment, LOVE IT, but there are over 20 more, check the link below.
I added a sprinkle of the Girls Best Friend Sequins for just a touch of bling.
