Simon Says Stamp Let’s Celebrate

Hey cardmaking friends, thanks so much for stopping in.  Today I have 4 cards to share with you created with the Simon Says Stamp Let’s Celebrate Card Kit for September.  This month’s kit has a fabulous new 6 x 8 stamp set full of birthday images and sentiments.  Some amazing double sided pattern paper designed by Vicki Boutin and a pile more fun stuff to create with.  It was very easy to come up with 4 card ideas in a matter of minutes and if I didn’t have a pile of “Stamptember” products sitting here to make samples with, I would have kept on going….So here are the 4 I finished.

Simon Says Stamp Let’s Celebrate, Card #1:

Start by using a blending brush to blend Pawsitively Saturated Ink Ocean over the card front.

Next, use the Stitched Circles Dies to cut out the colored hearts patterned paper.

Then, use copic markers to color the stamped cupcake.  Cut it out and attach it to the center of the circle.

Finally, place the card inside the Misti, and line up and stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment.

Simon Says Stamp Let’s Celebrate – Card #2

As you can probably tell from my cards, I’m really into the pattern paper in this month’s kit.  Card #2 combines two of them.

Start by using the Stitched Rectangle Wafer Dies to cut a card front from the rainbow pattern paper.

Next, fussy cut the butterflies from another piece and attach them up the rainbow.

Place the card into the Misti to line up and stamp the sentiment over on the left side.

Shaker Card #3

Start by die cutting the black and white ink splatter pattern paper with the Stitched Rectangle Wafer Dies to create the card front.

Cut a cello back apart and use it to create the edge to edge shaker card, by gluing three sides to the back, filling with the Disco Ball Sequins from the kit and then sealing it closed.

Next, attach this to a top folding A2 sized white card base.

then, stamp the Happy Birthday in SSS Intense Black Ink onto Hammermill Cardstock and color with copic markers:

Pinks:  RV10, RV13, Green YG03, YG17, Blue BG53, BG45

Attach to the cello card front with glue dots.

Simon Says Stamp Let’s Celebrate Card #4:

This particular piece of the pattern paper deserved a card all it’s own.  Cut the piece with the Stitched Rectangle Wafer Dies.

Next, place it inside the Misti to stamp the sentiment in black.

Finally, use foam squares to attach it to the front of a A2 sized top folding card base.
