Once I colored the card with Copic Markers, I splattered it with white and gold paint.  Around here, you can have spring and snow all on the same day, LOL,  so just being real, haha

How to create the Simon Says Stamp Sweet Tweets Easter Card

Start by using the Misti to stamp the image into a piece of hammermill cardstock 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ with copic friendly Ink.  I used Gina K Amalgam

Next, Color the image with Copic Markers:

Copics I used:

Background:  B000, BG0000, Yellows Y11, Y15, Y19, Browns:  E41, E43, E44, Leaves:  YG03, YG17, Dk Green:  G21, G24, G28, Peach:  R20, R24, R27

Simon Says Stamp Sweet Tweets Easter Card – finishing the card:

Start by placing the art piece back into the Misti and stamping the sentiment under the bird house.

Next, use the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut out the image.  This die set adds a beautiful stitched edge to your art piece. More interest, without any additional bulk.

Then, mount the art piece to a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Bazzill Dark Green Cardstock

Finally, add foam squares to the back of the art piece and mount it to a top folding A2 sized white card base (4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″).

Embellishing the card:

Start by adding some Caribbean Sunset Sequins from Simon Says Stamp

Next, create a bow from some jute twine to attach to the top of the rope

I’ve created a downloadable PDF file for you with all the instructions, photo and supply list.  You can save it in your computer or print it off to help you recreate the card.

  1. Such a sweet card! Your scheme is so aspiring-like and perfect for Easter!
On another note, I just saw the answer to a question on asked you the card after your birthday and I replied. Sorry I forgot to check. I guess I am used to some crafter’s not answering questions!

  2. This is just darling, Sandi! And I had entirely missed this birdhouse image in this set, so thank you for calling it to my attention. Beautiful card as always.
