Spellbinders De-Light-Ful Christmas Cards

Happy weekend my friends.  Today I’m sharing 5 cards created with the NEW Spellbinders De-Light-Ful Christmas Cards release designed by Yana Smakula.  This is another beautiful release from Yana, with a Fabulous Poinsettia die, lots of new glimmer plates, an amazing 3d embossing folder and even a new wax seal.  I had a blast with this release as you can tell I had no problem coming up 5 card ideas.

All my cards a A2 sized (4-1/” x 5-1/2″) and I’ve used a variety of different products on each of them.  I have linked all the products at the end of this post for you with clickable links to the Spellbinders/Simon Says Stamp Stores.  So let’s jump in and I’ll give you a brief breakdown on each one.

Spellbinders De-Light-Ful Christmas Cards #1

Start by creating a white card base and then attaching a piece of Mirror Gold 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ to the front.

Then, emboss a piece of Blue Spruce card stock 4″ x 5-1/4″ with the Holly and Foliage 3D Embossing Folder.

Next, gently rub a Versa Mark Ink pad over the surface of the piece.  Cover with gold embossing powder, shake off the excess and heat set.

Then, die cut a Modern Oval from white cardstock.  3 mistletoe pieces using the die from the July Large Die of the Month Club.  Then, cut three stems for the mistletoe using the Sealed Leaf Sprigs Die Set.

Finally, glue the gold berries onto the mistletoe, attach them to the white oval and then to the embossed card front.  Wrap with gold thread before attaching to the card front.

Then, using Teal Wax Beads, create a seal with the new BE Joyful Wax Seal.

Next, cut out the Yana’s De-Light-Ful Poinsettia Bloom Mirror Gold Cardstock and again from White cardstock.  Gently remove the white floral pieces and ink blend them.

Then, turn the gold piece over and add scotch tape to the back.  Flip it right side, and inlay your pink flower petals into the design. (you need two for this card).

Adhere the florals at the top right and bottom left of the card front and trim off the overhang.

Use the A Merry Little Christmas Sentiments Glimmer set to glimmer the sentiment and attach with foam squares. Add a few Gold Mix Color Essentials Gems to embellish.
