Spellbinders Floral Mini Tiles

Hi card making friends hope you are having a great day.  Today I’m sharing two cards created with the Spellbinders Floral Mini Tiles Die Set.  This is the February 2023 Small Die of the Month Set and it makes the prettiest cards.  There are a variety of shapes for the tiles as well as the florals to embellish them with.  They are super fun to create and great for using up your scrap bin too.  I of course had to add a bit of gold to mine.

I recently watched a movie filmed in India and the beautiful colors of their clothing and decorations are the theme of today’s colors, I hope you like them.

Both of today’s cards are A2 sized and I used Spellbinders cardstock to decorate them:  Saffron, Persimmon, Peridot, Teal Topaz, Waterfall, Matt Gold, Black, and from Hero Arts, Azalea

Spellbinders Floral Mini Tiles – Diamonds:

Start by cutting a card front in Azalea and mounting to a A2 sized white card base.

Next, die cut all the diamonds from gold matt cardstock.

Then, die cut all the flowers. layer them and glue them together and then glue them to the diamonds

Finally, arrange the diamonds in a grid form and glue them down to the card, trimming off any overhang.

Next, glue down the single flowers to the top portion of the card

Then, Foil the sentiments in Polished Brass on black cardstock.  Cut out with the coordinating dies and attach to the card.

Spellbinders Floral Mini Tiles – Card 2

Start by embossing the card front with the Hydrangea Bloom Embossing Folder before attaching to a top folding white A2 sized card base. (I did this in two layers, the second cut to 4 x 5-1/4″).

Next, cut the base in gold and attach 5 of them down the left side of the card.

Then, cut and layer the flowers and attach them to each section.

Finally, Glimmer foil the sentiment in Polished Brass onto Black cardstock and attach to the card front.

Embellish the small flowers on both card with clear crystal gems.

  1. Your colour choices are as always spot on Sandi! Beautiful cards showcasing the fabulous small die kit this month. I particularly love the bright orange which is not normally a colour I go for! Looks fab though.

  2. Your designs are always so pleasing. I love the bold colors against the dark background. From your samples I can see this set will be a favorite of mine and used a lot. Over the years. Thanks Sandi for the inspiration today!!!
