Hey card making friends, welcome back. Today I have for you, Spellbinders Four Petal Thank You Floral. This is a new product release from Spellbinders this month and there is an entire family of coordinating products under the FOUR PETAL COLLECTION that I am sure you will love, I certainly do. Today’s card is created with the Four Petal Thank You Floral Die set, along with the Essentials Four Petal Labels Die, and the Making Me Smile Sentiments.
The Making Me Smile Sentiments are very cool, there is a glimmer plate and a coordinating die and they glimmer all of the sentiments at once and cut out all of the sentiments at once, a real time saver. I’m so in love with this idea. It’s great having left over sentiments to speed up my next project.
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. See below for my full disclosure.
My color choices for today’s card are Waterfall, Teal Topaz, Purple Mist, Lilac Blossom and Rainforest. Spellbinders cardstock is definitely some of the prettiest I have ever seen and they make my cards look so rich and elegant. For the purple blooms, I also added a bit of Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Ink with a small blending brush. The embossed background is also ink blended in Peacock Feathers at the bottom and Tumbled Glass at the top before being placed into the Hydrangea Bloom Embossing folder.
How to create the Spellbinders Four Petal Thank you Floral
Start by blending Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto a 4 x 5-1/2″ white card front. When dry, attach to a top folding A2 sized card front (4-1/4 x 11″ score and fold at 5-1/2).
Next, use two of the Essentials 4 Petal Labels dies to cut out the white frame and use foam squares to attach to the center of the card.
Then, cut out all of the floral pieces from the colors noted above. Layer then and attach to the card.
Finally, use Polished Brass Foil to Glimmer foil the sentiments and add one of the smaller ones to the bottom of the frame.
Then, embellish with a few Essentials Gems.
