Spellbinders Glimmer Poinsettia Spray

Hi card making friends and welcome back.  Today I have a clean and simple Spellbinders Glimmer Poinsettia Spray Christmas card to share with you.  It’s clean and simple, but oh so elegant with all the beautiful gold foil.  This months Glimmer of the Month Club is again amazing.  Yes, I know I say that every month, but I’m really in love with this one.  The Spray is beautiful and with one pass through the glimmer machine, you have your art piece for your card.

This card is super fast and easy to create and to add more texture to the background of the card, I embossed it with this month’s Embossing Folder Club, the Scattered Christmas Folder.  They coordinate beautifully.

How to create the Spellbinders Glimmer Poinsettia Spray Christmas Card

Start with a piece of Pink Sand card stock 4 x 5-1/4.  Place it inside the Scattered Christmas embossing folder and run it through the Platinum 6 Die cutting machine.

Next, attach it to a top folding A2 sized card base.

then, take another piece of pink and a piece of white cut at 4-1/4 x 5-1/4 and Glimmer Foil them both with Polished Brass Glimmer Foil .

Finally, use the coordinating die to cut out the pink one, and fussy cut the flowers from the white one.

Adding the Sentiment:

There are also three sentiments in this months Glimmer Kit.  I gold glimmered all three of them at the same time on an additional piece of Pink Sand and cut them out with the coordinating dies.  That way, I have two sentiments ready to go for other cards when I’m in a time crunch.

Next, take a white gel pen and color in the berries on the pink swag art piece.

Then, Add the swag with foam squares to the bottom left corner of the card, the sentiment on the top right and the white flowers.

Finally, embellish with the Crystal Mix Color Essential Gems.  They add the perfect amount of bling to the card.

  1. I love pink but don’t typically think of it for Christmas. However, this is one of the loveliest cards I have seen. Love that shade of pink with the gold and white. Would you give out the brand of gel pen you used? Looks like a good one.

  2. I have loved all your gorgeous pink Christmas cards this month Sandi. I love how you added the white elements over the pink spray. Beautifully done!
