Hey card making friends, welcome back. Today’s share is two clean and simple cards created with the Spellbinders Nov 22 Glimmer of the Month Kit, Glimmer Edge Stylized Floral. I also used this month’s Fan Motif Embossing Folder in the background. It adds a pile of interest without a pile of work. This months kit has the glimmer plate along with the die to cut them out. The sentiment used is also part of the image. So, you can easily create beautiful cards with just this kit and a few different colors of Glimmer Foil.

Check out my black card today as I’m using another new product for that one. The new BRUSHED Black Cardstock from Spellbinders. This stuff is lovely. It has a beautiful understated sheen to it which really elevates the elegance of your finished card. This new card stock comes in three colors, Black, Gold and Silver, and 5 different colors of matching envelopes – see them all here!
Both of today’s cards are super clean and simple and very easy to create. BUT, with all the beautiful foiling, they have a major wow factor. The steps to build them are the same for both, I just used different colors of cardstock and foil, and positioned the elements differently.
Spellbinders Nov 22 Glimmer of the Month – Pink Card
Start with a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Pink Sand card stock and emboss it with the November 22 Fan Motif Embossing Folder before attaching it to a top folding white A2 sized card base.
Next, using the glimmer foil machine, and Gold Glimmer, foil the Glimmer Edge Stylized Floral plate onto a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of white cardstock.
Then, use the coordinating die to cut out the pieces.
Finally, Use foam squares to attach the images to the card front and then embellish with Spellbinders Essentials Sequins in Gold.
Spellbinders Nov 22 Glimmer of the Month- Black Card
Same steps as above, this time the card front is the Brushed Black card stock.
Next, foil the Glimmer Edge Stylized Floral plate with Copper Glimmer Foil and die cut out with the coordinating die.
Attach in a circle around the sentiment with small pieces of foam square. This one was embellished with copper colored sequins from my stash.
Pop over the SPELLBINDERS and check out the NEW CLUBS for this month. They are fabulous as usual and I can’t wait to share more cards with you.
