Spellbinders Small Die of the Month

Hi card making friends and welcome back. Recently, I signed up for the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month club and wanted to share the cards I made with you. I was so very exited to get this beautiful die set in the mail this week.

Spellbinders Small Die of the Month cards:

This Ornamental Floral Card Creator die set is absolutely fabulous. Included in the set is a border die and two floral/leaf dies: I cut two borders to cover the outside edge of this card. Next, I cut both the floral/leaf dies in white and then again with my smooshed watercolor paper I created a couple of weeks ago – details here. I love how the fun watercolor images pop from the pale blue background.

Finally, I dug all the yellow jewels out of my Pretty Pink Posh Party Mix embellishments and added them around the card for some sparkle. (they look green in the picture).

For the second card:

I die cut the two floral dies twice each and again with the smooshed watercolor paper to create a border around my sentiment. Using double sided adhesive on the back of your card stock is a real time saver with these dies – just saying, haha the thin lines are very hard to get white glue on.

The sentiment on both cards is Glimmer Foiled in Pink Foil and I used the NEW Thank you & Happy Birthday Stylish Script Collection.

You do require the Spellbinders Glimmer machine to use these special plates and add the hot foil to your cards and the machine is super easy to use.
