Spellbinders Small Die of the Month September

Hey Stamping Friends and Happy Long Weekend. Today I’m excited to share with you the new Spellbinders Small Die of the Month September.

I just love getting these Kits in the mail each month, I can’t wait to open them and see what’s inside and this month was no exception.

So let’s jump into the creating of this card shall we. I have linked all the products at the end of the post for you.

Spellbinders Small Die of the Month September – Card Instructions:

The Spellbinders Small Die of the Month September Kit has two fabulous border dies that you cut twice to create pretty diamonds for your card centers. Both are used here and overlaid to add thickness.

The kit also includes a variety of different floral dies. I only used two for today’s card cutting them multiple times from watercolor paper but I have another card to share in a few days that uses the other dies.

To create the flowers, first use the Jane Davenport Mermaid Markers (watercolor pens & on sale this weekend for 50% off) and smoosh the ink onto watercolor paper. Let it dry and then use them to die cut all the art pieces.

Mount the frame pieces onto a piece of FSJ Pool Play card stock that is mounted to a A2 Whip Cream card base. Then add the flowers around the frame.

Next, die cut the sentiment, three pieces for each letter and glue them on top of each other to create a d-3 effect before adding them to the center of the card.

Finally, add some glitter glue to the center of each flower.
