Spellbinders Wonderful Christmas

Hi cardmaking friends.  I’m back today with 3 projects to share with you created with the Spellbinders Wonderful Christmas Clear Stamp and Die Set.  This is the October kit with it’s beautiful poinsettia images.  I really enjoyed coloring them and backed each one with this month’s Scattered Christmas embossing Folder too.

My cards today are pink in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month.

handmade christmas cards with colored poinsettia and a embossed background created with new card making products from Spellbinders

I started with a 1/2 sheet of Hammermill White cardstock and arranged the stamps so they covered 1/2 of the sheet in my Misti.

Next, I stamped them in black ink, and then turned the paper and stamped a second set on the other end.

Then, I colored them with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Copic Markers Used:  Pinks:  R81, R83, R85, R59   Grays:  W1, W3, W5,W7.

Spellbinders Wonderful Christmas, Card 1

Start by using the 5th from largest Essential Arches and cut it from Pink Sand card stock.

Next, cut one larger in gold mirror cardstock.

Then, cut another Pink one 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.  Emboss both pink pieces with the NEW Scattered Christmas embossing folder before gluing them together and mounting them to a top folding A2 sized white card base.

Add the Wonderful Christmas Images to the top and bottom of the arch using foam squares to pop them up.

Finally, die cut the sentiments and shadows using the Small Die Set of the Month for October – Outlined Christmas Sentiments.

Spellbinders Wonderful Christmas Card #2

Basically the same as the card above except for:

Start by cutting a piece of Fog cardstock 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″ for the  card front.

Next, cut the Pink Sand piece 4 x 5-1/4 and emboss with the Scattered Christmas Folder before attaching to the card front.

Christmas tag created with new card making supplies from Spellbinders

Spellbinders Wonderful Christmas Tag:

Creating little tags with the left over pieces are fun too.

Start by using the small Essential Arches dies and hit your scrap bin for smaller pieces of cardstock.

Next, cut a gold frame to snazz it up a bit.

Finally, Add a pretty ribbon or bow to tie it to the parcel
