Hi stamping friends, my share today is created with the Stampin Up Seaside Shore for Happy Stampers blog hop.
This week we have a colour challenge:
And here is what I decided to do with it:
Sandi’s Tips & Tricks:
- I chose the By the Shore Designer paper as it had the colours for the challenge in it and partnered it with the Seaside Shore Stamp Set.
- I attached the designer paper to the front of the card and then used the Layering Circles Framelits to cut a hole in the front.
- The Framelits were used again to create the sentiment layers that are attached in the inside.
- All the cut out images were stamped on a piece of Whisper White and cut out before attaching them to the card except for the Greenery, which is stamped on Mint Macaron.
- The sentiment itself is coloured with Markers before stamping on Whisper White to get the two colours and then layering to a Mint Macaron Circle.
Now it’s time to go and see what the rest of the Happy Stampers Designers have come up with for this week’s challenge.

That’s so cool Sandi! Love the design with the circle cut out so that you can see the inside of the card. Great layering too!
thanks Amy, I’m in love with the new circle framelits so this gave me one more opportunity to play with them, haha..
Darling card Sandi. Move the porthole design and the combo of paper just pop!
Thanks Kristi, funny we both used the same set and Designer Paper this week
Such a fun card…love the inside message we can see from the front. Aren’t you clever!! These colours go well with this set. Have a wonderful day!! Hugs.
thanks Buddy, good day back to you as well.
Wow – what a bright fun card! I like this color combination. That stamp set is at the top of my “maybe” list and I keep wavering on whether to get it or not. Your card is swaying me towards yes again 🙂
oh, it’s an adorable stamp set Deepa, the only drawback is there are no dies so you have to cut out the images, but I like to fussy cut…
This is cool with the layering circle! Looks like this color combo gave a few of us the same idea! Love it!
thanks Jari, yes I laughed when I saw we had created with the same designer paper but it was perfect for the challenge
