Hi card making friends, my share today is the Stampin Up Swirly Bird Sailboats. What I love about this stamp set is how many different images you can create with it: Sailboats, kites, flowers, birds, sun, and who knows what else right?
Today I’m sharing Sailboats created with the New 2016 – 2018 Stampin Up In Colors:
Are they cute or what? I borrowed the large brush stroke from Painter’s Palette (another new stamp set) to create the wave and it’s in Emerald Envy.
Stampin Up Swirly Bird Sailboats #1 is in Dapper Denim with the sails being stamped off for a bit lighter image and the flag at the top of the sailboat is Sweet Sugarplum. The sun was created with two of the flower stamps and is stamped in Crushed Curry:
And there is a challenge this week over at The Card Concept:
as I have a cute little “sunshine” in my card and it fits in the Clean and Simple category, I can enter it – yeah!.
For the Stampin Up Swirly Bird Sailboats #2, I moved the “wave” up a little so I could stamp it off three times. I love the lighter versions of the Emerald Envy too.
And for the Stampin Up Swirly Bird Sailboats #3, I changed up the sailboat completely; it’s now in Emerald Envy with Flirty Flamingo Sails and a Peekaboo Peach Flag.
The new colors are fabulous:
- Dapper Denim
- Emerald Envy
- Flirty Flamingo
- Peekaboo Peach
- Sweet Sugarplum
You can order them individually starting June 1st, or there is a bundle #141818 – save 10% and order all 5…Don’t forget the reinkers!
I have another new post for you for tomorrow with more Swirly Bird Stamp Set images and on Sunday Rewind, another set of New In Color Cards so stay tuned.
Thanks so much for visiting me today, I hope you enjoyed the projects.
