Sandi MacIver – Stampin With Sandi – Trick or Tweet and Spooky Sweets
Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp It! Blog Hop! This is a group of amazing stampers so be sure and hop through the full line up for some great stamping inspiration. This month our challenge is to create 3-d items, one of my favorites yeah! We would love to hear from you so don’t forget to leave a comment.
This year’s Halloween offerings in the Stampin Up Holiday Catalogue is SPOOKtacular and I think I used most of them in my projects today haha.
I decided to use the Takeout Treats Bundle, in particular the Takeout Box Thinlit and then I decorate them with images and sentiments from the Trick or Tweet and Spooky Sweets set.
The Die is super simple to use and you only need 1/2 sheet of card stock for each box cut at 5-1/2 x 8-1/2.
I cut mine out of Smokey Slate card stock and then used the artful background stamp from the Spooky Sweet, to add some Horror Mist in my background.
All of the images have a 1-3/4″ circle moon in the background punched from Daffodil Delight and sponged with Mango Melody.
Then I used the Spooky Sweets Bundle to stamp the 3 bats (all at once), and I punched them out all at once with the Spooky Bats Punch – what a time saver.
I used the adorable critters from the Trick or Tweet Stamp Set to adorn my little take out boxes. For the cute kitten, I coloured him with my light Pumpkin Pie blends, and shadowed his bandages with the light Smokey Slate. The Pumpkin is Dark Pumpkin Pie and the sentiment is white embossed on a scrap of Highland Heather card stock, matted to Granny Apply Green. The box is tied up with the Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon.
My fav is this chubby little fellow decked out for the Masquerade Party. He is done in Smokey Slate light, with shades in Dark Smokey Slate. His wings are Granny Apple Green, his mask is light Highland Heather and his toenails are Lovely Lipstick. The pumpkin is dark Pumpkin pie and daffodil delight. I white heat embossed the sentiment on a scrap of Highland Heather and the box is tied up with the Granny Apple Green 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon.
And the darling little puppy is coloured in the light and dark of Crumb Cake, Black for his hat and light and dark Highland Heather for his cape and hat band. The sentiment is again white embossed on a scrap of Basic Back. The box is tied up with the Gorgeous Grape 1/4″ Mini Striped Ribbon.
