Unity Stamp Co Love Into Giving

Hi crafty friends and welcome back.  Today I have such a fun post for you, Unity Stamp Co Love into Giving.  Unity Stamps is a new Affiliate to me and I’m also going to be doing some designing for them which I’m super excited about because I LOVE their art.

A new Unity Stamp Co release dropped this past weekend and you can view it here:

Today I’m starting off my shares with the Love Into Giving set which has these adorable little Snowmen.  It’s also a bit of Christmas In July which seems to be a theme all over the place this month too…I’m ok with that because I love making Holiday cards.

For the card:

I started by cutting a sloping mask with the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Slopes Die.  I masked off the bottom of my card front before blending Distress Oxides:  Blueprint Sketch, Broken China and Tumbled Glass to create the winter sky.

Once that was dry, I mixed a bit of white Gouache and water and splattered the sky to add my snowflakes.

Next, I removed the mask and attached the card front to the top folding A2 card base.

Finally, once I attached my snowman I added some sketch lines under him.  A few small Rhinestones brighten the winter sky and a bit of Clear Wink of Stella adds a snowy glisten to his adorable roundness.

The Unity Stamp Co Love Into Giving Tags:

There were  still a pile of snowmen, so I decided to create some quick and easy tags.  You always need lots of tags at Christmas right?

Dumpster Diving into my scrap bin for some bright happy colors I came up with a Sea Glass Blue and Key Lime green – PERFECT

I used the Simon Says Stamp Large Tags Dies to cut my tags.

After I sponged the edges and flicked more white Gouache, I cut a scrap of white card with the Stitched Slopes dies to create the little mountain and attached it to the bottom of the tag.

The snowmen are attached with Foam Squares to pop them up just a bit.

Finally, I added some Gina K Black and White ribbon and a few small Rhinestones to complete the tags.
