Hi crafty friends and welcome back to my card making blog. Today’s share is created with the Wood Words Stampin Up Stamp Set for this months Stamping Techniques 101 Blog Hop
Our Technique this month is Heat Embossing, one of the first stamping techniques I ever learned and still one of my favs.
I decided to use the Wood Words Stampin Up bundle for my share today because the semi solid images in the stamp set are perfect for the Heat Embossing Technique. It also has this great floral background stamp which was perfect for my design idea, so I embossed twice for the background and again to create the “Heart” art elements on my cards.
The lush NEW In Colours of Tranquil Tide, Lemon Lime Twist, Fresh Fig, Powder Pink and Berry Burst all work beautifully with this technique don’t you think?
Here is a video for the Wood Words Stampin Up Heat Embossing Technique: walking you through how I created this card. If you are reading this in an e-mail you may need to click here to visit my blog to view the video:
And now it’s time to hop and see what the rest of the Design Team has chosen for our Heat Embossing Challenge for this month:
