Hi stamping friends, the Blossoms and Butterflies release is here. So many beautiful new products to create with.
and here is a video created by the Simon Says Stamp Team with an up close look at each of the new products:
Today I’m sharing Sketchy Lines – Stencil and Emboss Layering. You can do this with pretty much any stencil and stamp.
[All supplies are linked in the text below and in the thumbnails at the end of this post for you Compensated affiliate links may be used at no cost to you.]
The Stencil and Emboss Layering Technique is created by stenciling the image and then adding a embossed image over top. Today I’m using two new products from the Simon Says Stamp Blossoms and Butterflies release. The Stencil is Bouquet of Roses and the stamp is Sketchy Lines. Don’t you just love that cross hatch design across the card, I sure do.
For the inks I used Distress Oxides: Abandoned Coral, Squeezed Lemonade and Mowed Lawn and applied them with my Ranger Mini Blending Tools.
The layered sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp, Big Thanks Wafer Dies and the strip sentiment underneath is from Simon Says Stamp Messages for Everyday Stamp set, white heat embossed on a scrap of black.
NEW RELEASE
Many of the products used above are from the newest SIMON SAYS STAMP RELEASE and I’ll be using more soon so pop back.
