Hello my papercrafting friends, today I have More cardmaking fun with Gina K for you.
A few days back I shared a sepia card and video using the Elegant Asters Stamp/die set from Gina K and today I’m using the same bundle, just with very differently colors.
This time we are bright and cheery and popping right off a black card base.
I’m using the same Copic Marker Flicking Technique as in this video (view it here), just changing out the markers I used.
Copic Markers used for the More cardmaking fun with Gina K Card:
- Flowers: RV13, RV14, RV25
- Leaves YG21, YG17, YG23
- Flower Centers: Y15
Coloring these flowers with the flicking technique is super fast and using the coordinating dies to cut them out make putting this card together a breeze.
White heat embossing a sentiment from the set in the top right corner of the Black panel creates a nice contrast to the brightly colored flowers. I attached the panel to a white A2 card base and adding the die flowers with small bits of Foam tape to have them pop up just a bit.
Finally, I embellishment is some pearls created with Nuvo Dream Drops in Cloud 9 and I used the Nuvo Crystal Glaze on the flower centers also.
There are currently 6 videos in my Copic Quickies Series. These are all quite short videos showing how I like to color certain images and what markers I use

- Video #3 – Little Owl – MFT Warm and Feathered Hugs
- Video #4 – Woodland Whimsy Deer
