Spellbinders Sunday Drive with Santa

I had the best fun ever die cutting yesterday. I was playing with the Spellbinders Sunday Drive with Santa.

I’m excited to be a part of the Spellbinders New monthly release! Spellbinders will be releasing new product on the 10th of every month, so that is something to look forward to!

Sunday Drive with Santa is a new set of dies for the holiday season that coordinates with Spellbinders New Sunday Drive Dies. Remember the truck – now there’s a hot sports car too, and Santa’s at the wheel.

This was serious fun, deciding what color car Santa would have – Cherry red of course, which sentiment for the back – there are two to choose from.

Rudolph is along for the ride as well.

I used Silver Mirror card for the windscreen, mirrors, bumper and lights to look like chrome.

I decided to cut Santa out of red glimmer paper so he stood out a bit and Rudolf is cut from Kraft card.

The poinsettia and fern die embellishments even come in the set.

After all that fun it was time to decide on my card front. Pattern paper? Die cut? I decided on the FSJ Falala Bold Embossing Folder. I just bought it on a Spellbinder’s sale, and it’s perfect for this card.
My mom and dad have a hot little sports car that they tool around in in the summer months, so this will be their Christmas card.

This die set is ingenious, and so very easy to put together. If you don’t have a lot of colored card stock, you could also cut it from white and color it with your markers.
