Tonic Studios Envelope Stamp Set

Hi card making friends and welcome back. Today I’m up on the Misti Blog with a new post using the Tonic Studios Envelope Stamp Set. This is the second stamp set (add on), that was released last week as part of their Stamp Club roll out and it’s as fabulous as the first one.

This new Envelope Stamp Set is just fun. You have to read the sentiments, they are hilarious. I decided to make a card and matching envelope with it today.

Start by using an envelope punch board to create an A2 sized envelope from Neenah 80# card stock. I decided ahead of time to use alcohol markers to color the images today.

By folding in the flaps the envelope fit into the Misti so I could stamp the sign board and the snail in black alcohol friendly ink.

Open the piece back up and color the images with alcohol markers

Stamp a piece of masking paper with the two images, cut them out and place them over the coloring.

Blend the entire piece with Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass and Broken China. I left it very uneven as I happen to like that look, and once the ink was dry, I splattered it with water to distress the ink a bit more.

Remove the masking, fold the sides back and glue up the back of the envelope.

Tonic Studios Envelope Stamp Set – Matching Card

To create the matching card the steps are exactly the same starting with a piece of Neenah Solar White 80# that is 3-3/4 x 5

Extend the post for the sign with a black marker

Once the background is done, place the piece back into the Misti. Add the sentiments for the sign, and stamp them in black ink.

Finally, when both pieces are done use a white gel pen to add dots to the little snail shell and I added some white paint splatter to the card front as well.

Mount the finished piece onto a top folding A2 sized card base.
