Hey card making friends welcome back. I have some inky fun for you today with the Picket Fence Studios Wild Daisies. Another new stamp set from the Picket Fence Release Yesterday.
The Wild Daisies stamp is huge, it covers the entire front of an A2 card. I decided to cut it out so that I could play with a little background fun and have it peek through.
Start with a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 watercolor panel and add a wash with Gansai Tambi watercolor paints. I used 57 and 47. Set it aside to dry
On a second watercolor panel, use the Misti stamping platform to stamp the Wild Daisies in waterproof ink.
Watercolor the daisies. I used 57, 54, 36 and 35. Once it was dry, I dry brushed over it with the White Pearl. This really softened the colors and made it pearlescent.
Set this aside to dry and when dry, cut it out.
Meanwhile, back to the card front…now that the wash is dry, lay the Picket Fence Studios Slimline Broken Fence Stencil over the left side of the panel and add a coat of the Snowdrop White Paper Glaze.
This paper glaze has a similar sheen to the White Pearl paint on the flowers and it’s fabulous peeking through them.
Once the glaze is dry, use a strong adhesive like scor tape to attach the card front to the card base.
Use Foam Squares to attach the Wild Daisies to the card front
Use the NEW Fancy Daily Sentiments and stamp one onto a scrap of white cardstock. Trim it and add it with foam squares to the bottom portion of the card
