Hi card making friends thanks for stopping by. Today’s blog post is a Simple 3 Step Stamping Christmas Card created with the new Printmaking Pines set from Simon Says Stamp. This set is part of the new HOLIDAY SPARKLE release this week and it’s so much fun to create with.
You definitely want to use your MISTI for this project to layer the stamps over each other. The most fun is deciding which colors to make your trees. I went super subtle for my first card today as I am really loving the trend this year of the light and dark green color combo. I added just a little touch of gold to mine and some stitching for added interest and bling.

Ok, let’s jump into how to create this pretty card. Consider Mass Producing this one, as you have it all lined up in the Misti, it’s super easy to do. I’ll be sharing a card making video very soon on this subject.
PRO TIP – I find it easier to start with a quarter sheet of cardstock 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″, do my stamping and then cut it down with the Stitched Rectangle Wafer Dies. Then I know it will be perfectly centered.
How to create the Simple 3 Step Stamping Christmas Card
Simon Says Stamp Pawsitivly Saturated Ink in Aspen, Sage, Pine and Latte were used on this card.
Start with the stamp on the left, lining it up in the Misti and stamping it in Aspen. Clean the stamp and remove
Next, position the second stamp over the first stamped image (very easy to line up), and stamp in Sage. Clean the stamp and remove.
Then, position the third stamp and stamp in Pine. Clean the stamp and remove.
Finally, position the 4th stamp (the little tree trunks), under the trees and stamp in Latte.
Adding the Sentiment:
With the card stock still in the Misti, choose a sentiment and stamp it in VersaMark Ink, cover with gold embossing powder, shake off the excess and heat set it.
Then, place the Stitched Rectangle Wafer Die around the piece, and die cut it.
PRO TIP: This adds interest to the edge of your art piece with the tiny stitches and a pretty rounded edge.
Finally, matt with a 1/8 inch large piece of Matt Gold cardstock.
Simple 3 Step Stamping Christmas Card – Card Base:
White A2 sized card base. 4-1/4 x 11, scored and folded at 5-1/2.
Over that, a piece of Simon Says Stamp’s Midnight Green 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.

Thanks Natasha, super easy and so fun
Really neat Christmas card. Love the look of the light and dark green. I like to see people use unusual colors for their holiday cards, but I will always stick with the greens ( reds, white, and gold are my other favorites) as you have done in your card.
Thank you Linda, I have been trying different color combos this year, it’s been fun to branch out
