NEW VIDEO – Colored Embossed Double Vision Christmas Card

Hi everyone!  Welcome to Video #2 in my Christmas Card Magic 2026 series!  Judging by the views on my two Double Vision videos back in June, you loved this technique, so I’m bringing it back with a Christmas twist!
Today, we’re using a fresh pink and teal color palette and combining Embossed Double Vision with the Blackout Technique–but swapping the black for something a little more colorful!

Let’s get started!

Two teal and pink poinsettia Christmas cards with gold sentiments, showcasing the Colored Embossed Double Vision technique for Christmas Card Magic 2026, video #2.

Products Used for today’s Colored Embossed Double Vision Christmas Card:

Handmade Christmas card featuring pink poinsettias and teal flowers with the Colored Embossed Double Vision technique, white splatter, and a gold Merry Christmas sentiment.

How to create the Colored Embossed Double Vision Christmas Card:

  1. Emboss a 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel of Hammermill white cardstock with the Poinsettia Bouquet Embossing Folder.
  2. Color the images on the indented side with Copic Markers.
  3. Place the panel on a protected work surface, then drag the Mist ink pad across it to fill in the background color.
  4. Cut the panel into 1/2″ strips, keeping them in their original order.
  5. Cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel of Seafoam cardstock.  Glue every other strip to the panel, using the remaining strips as spacers.
  6. Remove the spacer strips, add 3D foam strips to their backs, and return them to their original positions for the Double Vision effect.
  7. Apply glue to the back of the completed art panel and adhere it to the center of the card.
  8. Die-cut a sentiment of your choice and adhere it near the bottom center.
  9. Embellish with Gold Pawsitively Dazzling Gems.

Optional: Add white splatter for a snowy finishing touch.  I love a little splatter, but if it’s not your thing, feel free to skip it.
