Hi card making friends, thanks for stopping by today.  I have TWO Spellbinders Diamond and Arch Cards to share with you.  Diamond and Arch Motif is the name for the November 22, Clear Stamp and Die Set of the Month from Spellbinders.  After looking at the pretty images, I decided to couple them with my Essential Diamond and Arches Dies to create todays Clean and Simple Cards.

It’s been a minute since I’ve played with my Prismacolor Pencils, so I knocked the dust off of them for today’s projects.

And apparently, I returned to the 80’s for my color combo choices today, haha. so welcome to my Retro Card Post, LOL, all kidding aside, I do love these bold jewel tones together, they really sparkle.

How to create the Spellbinders Diamond and Arch Cards #1

Start by stamping both the images onto white hammermill cardstock (great for colored pencils), in black ink.)

Next, color the images.  I used PrismaColor Pencils:  PURPLES:  Lilac, Lavender, Violet, GREENS:  Vert Privtemp, Peacock Green, Grass Green, BLUES:  Light Aqua, Aquamarine, Peacock Blue.

Then, Die cut them out with the coordinating dies from the kit.

Finally, white heat emboss the sentiments onto light gray cardstock.

Emboss a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 white card front with this months Embossing Folder – Fan Motif before attaching it to a top folding white A2 card base.

Next, cut out the arch and use foam squares to attach it to the card front.

TIP – I decided to invert my arch just to change it up a bit.

Finally, use foam squares to attach the art piece and then the sentiments.

How to create the Spellbinders Diamond & Arch Cards #2

To Start, the steps are the same as the above card with the exception of the Diamond being cut for the background.

Final step, embellish both cards with the Essential Gems in Teal.
